Outpatient Therapy at Nature's Edge

At Nature’s Edge, our outpatient therapy services specialize in addressing a range of conditions including autism, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, dyslexia, childhood apraxia, neurodiversity, and trauma-informed care. Our team of fully-licensed speech therapists are dedicated to providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages who are dealing with various disabilities or disorders. In addition to employing conventional therapy techniques, our specially-trained staff utilizes three exceptional strategies to enhance treatment and foster functional outcomes: hippotherapy, animal-assisted therapy, and horticulture therapy. These approaches are integrated within the natural environment of our expansive 65-acre ranch, offering a unique setting that promotes healing and growth.

Speech therapy interventions integrating strategies like hippotherapy, hands-on animal interactions in the barn, harvesting in the garden or walking on a forest path all provide sensory frameworks rich in motivation and physical strengthening and pliable for conversation and application, resulting in highly effective speech, occupational and physical therapy that produces significant gains. Our goal through outpatient therapy is to provide patients and their family/caregiver the skills necessary to achieve independence and integration to the highest degree possible.
