Becky Payne

Becky Payne, MAT, CCC-SLP, HPCS, is a highly experienced Speech-Language Pathologist, Clinical Specialist in Hippotherapy, and nonprofit leader, dedicated to advancing communication, functional independence, and rehabilitative care for individuals with complex medical needs. As Founder and Director of Nature’s Edge Therapy Center, she has pioneered a 65-acre therapy ranch, integrating evidence-based speech therapy, hippotherapy, animal-assisted therapy, and horticulture therapy to accelerate patient progress.

With extensive clinical experience in schools, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation centers, long-term care, and nonprofit administration, Becky specializes in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), aphasia, dementia care, dysphagia, childhood apraxia of speech, and neurorehabilitation. She is committed to ensuring equitable access to medically prescribed therapy for individuals of all ages, regardless of financial limitations.

An accomplished educator, presenter, and advocate, Becky has shared her expertise at national and international conferences, focusing on hippotherapy, augmentative communication, dementia care, and private practice business development. She is also a Pet Partners Evaluator, training therapy animal teams for healthcare and community settings.
