9th Annual "Ride On for Nature's Edge" Trail Ride - September 24, 2011

To everyone who helped to make our 9th Annual “Ride on for Nature’s Edge” Trail Ride, held on Saturday, September 24, such a success...thank you!
 
The foggy morning turned into a beautiful afternoon and with the exception of a few muddy spots, the trail was beautiful, thanks to the hard work of members of the Chetek Snowflyers.  Cliff Brown and Loren Wiesner provided wagon rides throughout the afternoon, while Heidi Jo Sovacool and Amanda Ricci led horse rides in the arena.  A variety of door prizes were handed out, and everyone enjoyed grilled hot dogs, baked beans, fresh-cut french fries, and delicious apple pie.
 
We especially appreciate the support of Gilbert's of Sand Creek, our primary event sponsor, and all the other donors without whose support this event would not have been possible.
 
Proceeds from the Trail Ride will be used to help buy hay for our therapy horses.
