	Vice President Jewel Market MD Family Practice Luther Middlefort I'm a family physician at the Luther Midelfort Northland clinic in Rice Lake. I grew up in Eau Claire and did all of the medical school and residency training in Madison. I moved to Barron in 1997 with my husband who is also a family physician. I worked at the clinic and hospital in Barron until 2004 and enjoyed doing the full scope of family medicine. I especially enjoyed the obstetric and pediatric parts of my practice. A little over a year after our first child was born, I decided that I needed to be home much more. I worked on an as needed basis at all of the Luther Midelfort area clinics until this fall when the clinic in Rice Lake opened. I currently work 2 days a week there and have plenty of time to spend with our 2 children. I knew of Nature's Edge Therapy Center because of my role as an area physician, but became much more aware of the unique therapies and programs offered through the center as the mother of a child with autism. My son began seeing Becky for speech therapy this spring. We've been extremely impressed with the therapy he's had and the progress he's made. We are very thankful for the rewarding and exciting experience our son and family has had at the center. I'm very happy to have a chance to continue my involvement with the center as a board member.

	Roy Mortenson My name is Roy Mortenson, and I am so honored to be on the Board for Nature's Edge Therapy Center. I came to the Center looking for Icelandic Horses. I met one within minutes. Svali was in a Hippotherapy session working with a client and he and I succeeded in getting a "million dollar smile" from the young client. Immediately, I asked "Where do I sign up? - To work with Icelandics, and to help handicapped children?" I was born in Minneapolis, served 20 years in the Marine Corps in a variety of capacities, including nuclear weapons, aircraft electronics, helicopters, and even the general's staff in Korea. I have had many other interesting occupations before and since my military duties. I live in Clear Lake and enjoy gardening and cooking.
